The Jungle Book

Written in 1894 by English writer Rudyard Kipling, these stories central themes are of abandonment, fostering, and law and freedom of humans told in stories of animals. The Jungle Book has become a classic in children's literature and is a staple for every library. MinaLima designs a stunning version of this classic and includes pop up graphic designs as well. A favorite story of mine from this book would be "Rikki-Tiki-Tavi," the story of a young mongoose who becomes a valiant hero fending off two evil cobras. Featured in this photo is a few characters you might recognize including Shere Khan the Tiger, Kaa the Python, and the Bandar-log Monkey!
